Lynne's role covers a broad range of issues that are vital to the safe and sustainable running of the Tyne Tunnels. As well as managing and monitoring the Health and Safety systems across site, Lynne is responsible for looking at ways of minimising TT2’s environmental impacts, and ensuring that quality standards are maintained.

Data Protection Statement

TT2 Limited process your information for the operation of the Tyne Tunnels. Processing of information (and any associated personal data) will be in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will include the use of cameras and visual/audio conversation recordings to record data, events and the verification of details on the exempt permit scheme amongst other operational reasons. These cameras are situated on either side of (and at various locations within) the Tyne Tunnels. For the purposes of one-on-one conversations, TT2 Limited may monitor, record, store and use any discussion or telephone, email or other communication with you to check any instructions given to us, for training purposes, for crime prevention, for legal proceedings and/or to improve the quality of our customer service.Your information may be disclosed to, or requested from, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), local authorities, law enforcement agencies, insurance companies and other organisations for the administration, enforcement of the exempt permit scheme, motor offences and the prevention and detection of crime.

Any processed personal data will not be kept for longer than necessary for the above purposes in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

TT2 Limited may randomly select and monitor vehicles subject to exemption to identify possible fraudulent use. If you persistently defraud or attempt to defraud the exempt permit scheme, TT2 Limited may record your vehicle’s movement and may disclose relevant details to local authorities and / or law enforcement agencies, to assist in tracing persistent evaders and those committing fraud.
