Tolls Increase

The Tyne and Wear Integrated Transport Authority have applied to the Department of Transport for an Increase in Toll and this has been approved. Therefore, the Toll schedule will be as follows from the 1st of January 2012:-
Motorcycle (with or without side car ) or power assisted cycle. (Class 1) £0.00
Cars and vans not exceeding 3.5 tonnes GVM. (Class 2) £1.40
Mechanically propelled vehicle other than a vehicle in Class 1 and 2. (Class 3) £2.00
