The Tyne Tunnels’ Bylaws arose from the 1960 Tyne Tunnel Act.
The bylaws are a set of rules that cover everything within TT2’s area of authority. They detail how people must behave within our site, and we attempt to enforce them in a customer focused manner. The rules are designed to ensure that the tunnels are as safe as possible for all who visit them.
