Through the Tyne Tunnels Community Fund, TT2 are delighted to have donated £1,000 to Tyneside Community Wood Shed, a fantastic local organisation that uses woodworking as a way to bring people together, improve well-being, and combat social isolation.

The Wood Shed provides a welcoming environment where individuals can learn practical woodworking skills, explore their creativity, and build new connections. By creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to work together on projects, the organisation is helping to boost confidence, support mental well-being, and foster a stronger sense of community.

Our funding will contribute towards the upgrade of the workshop with a new laser engraver, essential software, and a CNC router. These additions will enhance the range of tools and resources available to members, giving them even more opportunities to develop their skills.
