This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming back a group of young people taking part in the Newcastle United Foundation Princes Trust Programme.
Taking them on a tour of our control room and vehicles, we showcased the systems and processes involved in managing the tunnels on a day-to-day basis.
We first welcomed the first group of students back in June 2023 and then later in October 2023.
They had a tour of the control room which has 16 multi-view monitors, facilitating 171 cameras so our controllers can keep everyone safe inside and outside the tunnels!
They also got shown around our vehicles and the purposes of having them and what their roles are here at TT2.
Finally, at the end of their visit, they were gifted with a goody bag of TT2 merchandise from us.
We look forward to welcoming back future groups of young people in the Newcastle United Foundation Princes Trust Programme as part of our ongoing partnership.
