In January 2023, our team at Tyne Tunnels took part in the Great Place to Work survey, which anonymously evaluates the company for its culture and work environment via the Great Place to Work questionnaire.
The results highlighted TT2 as Great Place to Work Certified! And 80% of our employees said they felt welcomed when they first joined, felt right at home, and that TT2 is a fun place to work.
Having taken on over 80 new employees with the transition to open road tolling, we are thrilled with the outcome of the survey and plan to continue to make positive changes in our workplace, taking into account all employee feedback.
Over the last few years, we have had a huge focus on employee wellbeing and have introduced support such as Mental Health First Aiders, a quiet room, external health drop-ins, wellbeing challenges and much more.
